Specifically, its leaders needed to be responsive to clients–some of them very large–in a timely manner. This meant developing a system for attracting highly talented people who would be tracked and developed as future leaders. Our client wanted to determine any skill gaps among the executive team and provide the development/experience needed to remove barriers. Solution: Succession Management Process
Psychological Associates helped this client develop a talent management
process, which included:
- Selecting talent on the senior level: customizing an assessment
battery and administering 360º feedback, first on the senior
level and then, several tiers below that.
- Coaching senior executives one on one.
- Developing collaborative skills through a custom, in-house
version of our Leadership Through People Skills® workshop.
- Certifying in-house trainers for Leadership workshops.
- Developing and organizing succession planning in line with
- Establishing for the senior team a team-building process, which
was then introduced to executive teams at the next level
down in the organization.
