Dimensional® Coworker Feedback

Teamwork. Task forces. Project teams. Marshaling resources across departmental lines. . .

These concepts work successfully only if people fully coordinate and collaborate with one another.

What is it?

Coworker Feedback surveys and reports tell employees how well they are working with colleagues at all levels of the organization through feedback from the people who know best -- their coworkers and bosses.

And there is a bonus! Personal and confidential Coworker Feedback reports guide each participant in developing action plans that maximize individual contributions to the organization -- plans that focus on improving interpersonal and communication skills.

How it works:

A Coworker Feedback program consists of confidential surveys and reports that give employees feedback from their coworkers and bosses on strengths and areas that should be targeted for improvement.

Confidential, anonymous questionnaires are given to the participant's coworkers and boss. The participant also completes the same survey form to provide a self-rating.

The report:

Questionnaires are returned to Psychological Associates, where the results are analyzed and compiled into a confidential, computer-generated report that only the participant receives. The report graphically and verbally:

  • Describes the areas in which feedback ratings were sought
  • Provides instructions for self-interpretation
  • Compares the participant's ratings to norms
  • Shows differences between coworker, boss, and self ratings
  • Interprets strengths and areas that can be targeted for improvement
  • Suggests the area of improvement that promises the greatest payoff for the participant
  • Outlines how to prepare for and hold a meeting with the boss or team leader to map individual action plans.

Why you should try Coworker Feedback:

  • Coworker Feedback provides:
  • Rich feedback on strengths and weaknesses
  • Self-awareness that provides impetus for self-development
  • Improvement recommendations for individuals and team members
  • Training needs assessment tools that enable training to be focused on areas where it's needed most
  • Action plans for improving people skills
  • Coaching tools for managers and team leaders of self-directed work teams.

The participant and his or her boss continue to use the report as the focal point for on-the-job development and coaching sessions that help fulfill action plans.

In concert with team building, Coworker Feedback can examine group dynamics, showing individuals how their behavior affects a team -- pointing the way to action plans that empower them to offer more team support and increase team productivity.

In either situation, Coworker Feedback helps create an environment that allows teams to excel and produce meaningful business results.
