Training Consultant
Outstanding opportunity for an experienced training consultant with skills to tailor and deliver both traditional and blended-learning leadership and sales development programs
Psychological Associates, headquartered in St. Louis, MO, is a dynamic, growth-oriented business, offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced training professional. We are an organization of psychologists and training consultants which, since 1958, has specialized in performance solutions for business. We advise leading Fortune 1000 companies in the USA and abroad. Due to continued growth, we have immediate openings in St. Louis for professionals with in-depth management and sales instructional experience.
Position
The successful candidate will conduct a variety of workshops in management/leadership and sales, focusing on training and/or certifying personnel from client organizations. This individual must be a master facilitator, engaging the audience through questioning, interactive learning, discussion, giving feedback, and delivery of crystal clear directions. At times, this individual will work as a content specialist, assisting our Research and Development Department to tailor programs to client specifications. In addition, the selected candidate will on occasion lead the implementation of complex development projects. This consultant will interact with senior-level executives at Fortune 1000 companies worldwide. This will require exceptional customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in adult education, communications or a related field
- Five to 10 years’ experience in delivery of interpersonal training programs
- Work experience as sales or management professional preferred
- Business acumen
- Willingness to travel extensively – at least 50%
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and in team environments
- Strong platform presentation and facilitation skills, as well as superior verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with senior levels of major corporations
Compensation and Benefits

- Interpret cognitive, personality, and leadership assessment data
- Write assessment/coaching reports
- Provide executive coaching and development
- Participate in succession planning, and talent optimization projects.

This person filling this position must have the ability to identify prospects, determine needs, tailor business solutions, and develop new clients – and must be willing to travel.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Clinical Psychology
- Eight to 10 years' experience
- Willingness to relocate to St. Louis, Missouri.
