CAREER EVALUATION is a multi-dimensional process designed to provide you with a total picture of yourself. It begins with an interview at our offices to learn your background and interests. Following the interview, you take a comprehensive battery of tests to measure your:
Aptitude and abilities
Supervisory potential
Leadership orientation
Job interests
Personal values
Interpersonal characteristics
Some interpersonal characteristics we measure are your drive level and ambition; persistence; competitiveness and assertiveness; maturity, dependability, and reliability; interpersonal skills; capacity to maintain long-term relationships; ability to adapt and accept supervision; and work habits.
Testing can be spread over one or two days. Following testing, a Ph.D. consultant outlines your test results during a feedback session to provide you with personal insight.
You receive a comprehensive written report on the findings of the test battery, together with a professional interpretation of what the findings mean as they relate to your career.
You now have a deeper understanding of yourself, your aptitudes, your preferences — a new insight that can help you develop an accurate, and perhaps new, image of your potential.
You’re armed with the self-knowledge to make a sound career decision. You may decide you’re already in the right job. If so, you now can continue your career with confidence instead of doubt.
On the other hand, you may decide to take control of your career by exploring different opportunities in your chosen career field — or by changing directions entirely.
The rest is up to you. The success you achieve in getting a new job depends largely on the degree of personal initiative and energy you devote to your job search. We provide proven, effective tools; but it’s up to you to use them. We show you, for example, how to develop job leads and contacts, but your time and effort are the only means of developing them. You, alone, determine how long it will take. No service — ours included — can guarantee a job or a time frame for finding one.
Take control of your career . . . it’s up to you.
